Hi all!

First dis post ever. Anyway, my DW and I are heading to WDW for our honeymoon in September. Although this will be the first time out there for both of us we already are bitten by the WDW bug. One of the things I want to do while we're down there is visit the DVC booth. Can anybody tell me where this (or these) are located. I know there is one in Tomorrowland at MK but are there any more? Thanks in advance for all the help.

Walk 3 feet in any direction and you will see one :) Seriously, they are everywhere, you will not have trouble finding one.

In every resort ,every park ,DTD and if you are on-sight you can Dial them up for a tour.

Good Luck I hope it's right for you as we can't wait for our June and DEC DVC trips.

They are all over the place, including the lobby area of every WDW resort. There are 3 that I know of at MK, Tomorrowland, Main Street and Adventureland. Two that I know of at the Studios, near Sci Fi and another just off Hollywood Blvd, behind the dining ressie booth. One at Animal Kingdom on the way to Festival of the Lion King (there may be another near Flame Tree BBQ), and EPCOT has one along the main promenade in Future World, another near the USA Pavilion.

Let's see:

DD: West Side, and Marketplace near the toy store
MK: Tomorrowland, Main Street near Tony's restaurant, and somewhere near the shooting gallery.
EPCOT: On the bridge linking Future World with World Showcase, in front of The American Adventure, and just past MouseGear towards Mission Space.
AK: Opposite Pizzafari on the road to Lion King show, and near Retaurantasaurus.
MGM: in front of Sci-Fi Drive Inn, and by McDonalds on Sunset Blvd.
Also, in the lobby of each hotel, on the BW near the center of the BW, and the main sales office at SSR.
I think that's about it.

MGM: on the road that you walk to to get to Tower of terror, near villians shop
MGM: Near backlot tour

MK: Not sure if its still there but there was one near swiss family tree house

Also the open house at the Boardwalk is next to Big river grille

When we were curious about DVC we stopped at a booth in AK before our last day of our visit and basically all that happened was he set up a tour. The booths are nice but truely don't give away the "secret". If you want the dirt on DVC, the booth rep will probably do like ours and only explain very little and then set up an appointment tour for you with a guide. The tour can last from and hour to 2 depending on your questions. It's really worth the time to fully understand the DVC process and very informational. I would highly recommend a tour before making such a large purchase.

Glad to hear the mouse bug has bitten. Congrats on your wedding! SAfe Travels!

Lets put it this way - we were just down in WDW the first week of May and thought up a GREAT drinking game. Take a shot at every time you see a DVC mention! :teeth:

You will have NO trouble finding a booth or just look around the lobby of your hotel! I know AKL and WL both had representatives there.

Our group eventually decided that in order to get out of the hotel and still be sober- it would have to be 1/4 ounce shots.

We counted over 100 mentions of DVC in less than 4 hours between hotel, buses, and parks. That would be a lot of drinkin :cheer2:

So no worries- you'll find someone easily, and chances are good that someone on these boards will PM you and offer to connect you with their guide- I believe DVC has a referal bonus in some states?

You forgot another one in AK-on the corner of Asia headed towards EE. And there's one right on the Boardwalk. I'm sure someone else could think of some more locations-for instance, are there any at the water parks? Yup, they're everywhere!

And yet the tagline when we were there in November was "Have you heard the secret." Uhm, how clueless would you have to be not to have?

I don't think irony is particularly big at the Mouse House.

Congrats on your wedding. If all goes well maybe a welcome home for you is in the future.

Like everyone else said, you can't miss them.

That sounds like a fun drinking game. Every single bus at Disney has DVC on the back of it. I think it says "Heard the best kept secret?" If you drive from the Boardwalk to the Magic Kingdom you will probably see the back of 12 buses. Hope you don't plan on drinking and driving.

As mentioned above, the folks in the booth will give you very little information. Legally the booth workers cannot say much. DVC is a real estate interest so only a licensed real estate professional is allowed to really explain it to you.

The booth workers main job is to get you to setup an appointment at SSR to learn the whole scoop, get all the details etc. If you are seriously interested it would be best to figure out when you could spare a few hours and make an appointment for that time as soon as possible. DVC will come pick you up in a van and drop you off afterwards (it does not have to be the same place so you can have the van pick you up at your resort, take the tour and have them drop you off at a park)

Or do what we did. Spent the whole day at MK on the underground tour(7 hrs). When we got done we stopped at the DVC store on Main Street. The van picked us up and took us to SSR. We took the tour, had a snack, a few drinks, then the van dropped us off at our room at CBR.

You say there are DVC booths at WDW, where? :rotfl2:
You have to really look hard. it's like a great game of Hide and Seek :thumbsup2

Shhh! We can't tell you, it's a secret! Just like all (and I mean ALL) the signs say, "DVC is the best kept secret".
