DVC at the Grand Floridian

Does anyone have ideas as to when we are going to start seeing promotional material on the new DVC units at the Grand Floridian? Inquiring minds want to know the details!!!

I think we would all like to know that date. DVC signed the Master Declaration of Condominium Association is effective February 1, 2013, and recorded with Orange County on April 1, 2013. BLT sales began 8 days after the filing. No one seems to know why DVC is delaying, except there is speculation that DVC wants to sell more of AKV and Aulani before opening VGF.

For AKV it was about three weeks after the filing of the Declaration that sales were announced. I suspect we may hear something by May. Also, I highly doubt selling more at AKV is considered a reason to delay at this point. The only things that would really cause any delay now is just getting all the sales materials, point charts, etc. completed, and waiting to assure that they can with a reasonable degree of certainty pin-point an expected opening date.

Dvcnews.com is estimating contract dates for the Grand Floridian to start in the fall of 2013. Seems to me that Disney needs to get on the promotional material!!!
