DVC at the end of February

We passed ROFR and are waiting to close. I would like to plan our first trip for the end of Feb. If we close in early October how likely are we to be able to make a res BWV or BCV? I don't know how crowded things are a DVC then.

You should always have "a chance" as long as it isn't during a holiday weekend like President's Day or something like that. As for BCV....That one might be difficult since it is one of the smaller DVC resorts.

Which is your home resort? Since you will only be about 4 months out when you can book, I'd probably not plan on anything specific, but just request anything in the size catagory you are looking for during your timeframe. As DVC members, you will have lots of years to stay at all the resorts, so this one time, maybe you just take what you can get.

Probably not likely at BCV or BWV. These book up pretty fast because of location and size. If there is availability, it will most likely be at SSR or OKW. But you never know till you try. You can always take what is open when you call and then get on the waitlist for your first choice. But be sure you read up on how the waitlist works before you do this. There are pros and cons when utilizing it.

I just called and got AKV for 4 nights and 2 nights BWV Standard in a 1 bedroom for all nights and that is Feb 14-20 2009 which is presidents week. So you never know what will be available.
