DVC at Disneyland Resort

Aside from reading through this website, I spend much of my day not-working and browsing through Wikipedia. I use this site as a first point of contact for any preliminary research on any topic including Disney Vacation Club. I would never cite this resource as there is little credibility among its sources and can be modified by anyone. I do however trust most of what it says just because I figure there are not that many people out there trying to flood sites will bogus information - regardless it usually is able to point me in the direction of more reliable sources and is a valuable tool just in that aspect.

My question regarding Wikipedia and DVC; on the Wiki page for DVC, its states that in May 2005, Disney announced it would 'make a presence at the Disneyland Resort in California'. Is there any speculation what this presence might be or is it just rumors? If anyone has access to the Disney statement (if it was official) can they supply the link? Thanks.

DVC is already there. I believe that the statement you refer to just meant that they would establish DVC sales kiosks there, not that they necessarily planned to build a DVC resort there.

That said, there continues to be speculation that Disney is considering a DVC resort for Disneyland in California. We'll have to wait until there is an official announcement to know for sure.
