DVC and WDW Travel---Getting same room experiences?

I have 2 nights in January at the BW. I can't get a standard studio for a 3rd night through DVC even on cash but I can get it at Disneyworld.com. Anyone had any experiences where they were able to get the same room when doing back to back reservation likes this? Thanks.

Won't be the same room. What is usually denoted as a Standard via cash is generally Pool/Garden.

Explain the situation at check-in, tell them it is a continuing stay. You may get lucky, you may not, on the same room. Remember it is a busy season for DVC reservations, so you will likely have to move.
