Thinking of purchasing DVC, however a friend of ours who just purchased said to stay at certain resorts, you MUST buy park tickets for everyone in your party, and for the entire length of stay. Is this true? If so, at all resorts, or just a few?? This is going to be our decision maker!

No...multiple things being confused here.
DVC does not require you to buy a park ticket - ever - to be a member.
Dvc does at present offer you a discount, as a member, to purchase annual passes.

It could be your friend is thinking if you buy a vacation package (not dvc) those may require (or include) admissions for all members of your party for the lenght of stay....and that's not really resort dependent, I think that's how all the inclusive vacation packages are offered...but this is completely seperate from being a DVC member.

Edited to add:
Your friend may also be confusing this with a disney dining plan, which again I believe requires all members in a party to participate - but again, is not resort specific.

Not true.

In fact we have made trips to WDW and stayed at DVC resorts and have not gone into the parks at all. My guess is your friend is confusing DVC with one of Disney's promotions -- which sometimes require length of stay tickets for all in your party.

If you stay at one of the Disneyland Paris hotels on points, you are required to buy park tickets.
As stated, you do NOT have to buy park tickets when staying at any DVC resort.

To be more specific:

The Disneyland Paris hotels are the ONLY location that requires the purchase of length of stay park tickets for all persons in the room (when booking the stay on points.)

The Disneyland Hong Kong hotels INCLUDE length of stay park tickets (at no cost) (when booking the room on points.)

All other locations, including all DVC resorts, do NOT require the purchase of park tickets, nor do they include park tickets.

The OP may be thinking of a Free Dining stay, which DVC Members are not eligible for (in conjunction with a stay on points).
