Okay so......prices are going up tomorrow. We are going next March and I am wondering since Maple Leaf is extending old prices until Monday if it is worth buying through them.

Not sure how that works with the room card etc?? We will be doing a 4 day + water parks and more, no park hopper.

Thoughts?

Somebody on the DVC Boards posted that ticket prices actually went up today...

old ticket prices still valid today (sat). bought tix for upcoming trip today from the web site (MS for AP and disney site for hoppers for 2 others not in my household but going on the same trip with us)

Its not an issue having tix seperate from room card. You just have another card to keep track of. I buy from AAA regularly to get their discount. I dithered arounda and missed out on it this time :( they go up more tomorrow than I get in their discount so went ahead and bought them.

I don't know about the other tickets, but I just purchased some DVC AP vouchers online for $370.62 this morning. Deb Wills has the new price listed on her web site as $392.99 (effective 8/3/08).

Prices go up Aug 3rd, but some internet sellers already raised the prices as of this evening. The old prices are still available at Orlando Attractions, which was cheaper than everyone else even before the price increase. Which makes me nervous about this supplier - why doesn't everyone use them if they're the cheapest? Just paid $1,385 for 10 day hopper with waterparks and more no expiration - 2 adults + 1 child. Competitor websites want almost $200 more.

I hope Orlando Attractions is a safe place to buy from...

If you purchase DVC AP vouchers are they valid indefinately (like 2010)?

The vouchers don't become active until you exchange them for the actual pass, and you can do that ANYTIME. You could buy a bunch of vouchers at today's prices and hold them for years if you wanted to.

That must be the case for This Poster who missed the lower price at 5:30 pm today.
This is where I saw the new prices had gone into effect already...

I don't have experience with Orlando Attractions - have you checked over on Theme Parks to see if others recommend them? Hope all goes well for you, sounds like a great savings!

The post you linked to was mine... I didn't have to buy them for the new price, I just missed calling member services. I could not figure out how to buy them online with the dvc discount, so I thought I could only do it through MS on the phone... Sorry for being misleading!
