DVC and park parking

We're going to WDW in June and this is our first trip that we're staying off-site. I can't remember if DVC members get free parking at the parks. Can someone let me know? Thanks.

No, we don't.

We get free parking when staying at an on-site resort -- just like any other on-site resort guest.

Alas, when we stay off-site, we have to dig into our pockets for $6 (or whatever it is these days) for the first parking lot we enter. If you park-hop by car, your parking ticket is good at additional parks on the same day.

No you do not. If you have AP tickets you get free parking however. You must be staying at a DVC resort to get free parking or another WDW resort of course.

Free parking is a perk for all on-site WDW guests, as well as Annual Passholders. DVCers that are staying off-site must pay parking, unless they are also annual passholders.

What if you are staying at VB and come up for a day at the Parks. Do you still have to pay for parking?

That's been asked before and maybe someone with first hand knowledge can respond. I believe someone once said they got their car pass at VB and it was accepted at the theme parks. Also when you check into VB your door key will show you as a resort guest, with the dates on it. I believe the parking attendants at the theme parks will also accept that.

Bottom line, at VB you are still considered a resort guest with resort guest parking priviledges.

If you have your "Key To The World" card all you have to do is show it at the admission gate (at any of the parks) and parking is free.

In June of 2002 we sayed at VB on a rainy day at VB we went to MK we had a VB parking PASS in window at MK the parking attendant waved us in no charge
