DVC and DDP New Policy Question

I though I had heard that you can now book a portion of your stay at DVC with the DDP...is that correct, or is that still in the "planning" stages? We were only looking at using the DDP 2 of the 4 nights during our upcoming trip.

You can book your reservation in "segments" and do it that way now. Take a look at other threads on this subject because it's a little confusing about whether or not you would be required to get new KTTW cards for each segment (although you would not be required to switch rooms). I don't do the dining plan at all anymore, so I haven't paid that much attention.

You can have the reservation segmented to allow for the dining plan for one part only or for different plans on different segments. The reservations will fall under the same travel plan number so you would not have to change rooms as long as all segements are for the exact same room category.

Also, since 10/14/2010 the dining plan needs to be paid for in full at the time it's added to the room reservation.

Yes, your reservation will need to be broken down into segments, but will under one reservation/itinerary number. You may need to talk to a MS supervisor to do it. Even though they've had the capability for a few months, not all the CM have experience with it, yet.
