Hey, Everyone on AKV Kidani Tree #1 list (formerly #2), I shipped the tree today via Fed Ex ($32.00, I think I must try to lighten it next time). I didn't plan to ship for a couple of days but my daughter (pregnant with twins)developed some health issues and so the doctor plans a c-section early. I made quick travel plans to fly up to Northern Utah tomorrow, so I had to ship the tree a couple of days early.
I should get notification from Fed Ex when it's delivered and I will post the info so if there's any problem with Bell Services Michelle can tell them when it was delivered. The box is a plain brown box 35x18x20 and has the tree name list on all sides for the following families (real names are on the box):
yanniz Dec. 7th - 15th

lmshaggard Dec. 17th -23rd

alanapapa Dec. 25th - 29th

Thank you so very much for your generosity and participation so that we can enjoy a tree in our villa during the holidays. I know my entire family is looking forward to it!! Thanks everyone. I leave in about 30 minutes to catch a flight. Plans are now to deliver the boys at 5pm Utah time. I won't be there in time, but at least I'll be on the way.

No Bell Services at BLT. Actually pretty much nothing but a TOTWL Check in Desk, Community Hall and Rooms at BLT. Bell Services is in the Contemporary... right by where you check in (you check in for BLT at the Contemporary BTW). Hopefully they have it. I meant to get the gentleman's name who helped me with it - all I remember is that he has worked at Disney for like 40 years so that should help narrow it down!

This is all correct. After a small bit of confusion trying to pick up Bay Lake Tree #2 today, here's the latest scoop...

- The tree was originally in the custody of the Business Center in the Convention Center (right beside Contemporary) as I guess they handle most incoming deliveries for guests.
- From now until the last guest is ready to send it back, all drop offs and pick ups should be done at Bell Services at Contemporary. They are VERY familiar with the process and have in fact requested when the trees are dropped off to tell them what it is, and who and when the next pick up will be. They call them "pass along trees" and as long they know what it is, they are ready and willing to help coordinate the trees. Don't forget to tip Bell Services for their assistance.
- The last person has several options...return shipment through the Business Center in the Convention Center, return shipment from another local pick up spot in the Orlando area, or take it home and send it from there. It is about 14x14x40 inches in the box. Take the money in the envelope donated by all the users except the one who donated the tree, spend what you need on return shipment (should be around ($20-25), and return the rest of the money to the tree donor to help offset their expenses at the beginning of the process.

My DD and beautiful new grandsons are doing well, I am so thankful that I was able to make a short trip up here.

When I first tried shipping the box it was $85. I had to lighten the load. I hope those at AKV like what I shipped.

Hi! We arrived yesterday in the Treehouses and they can't find the tree at Bell Services. Is there something else we should do?? We have never done this before and I don't know the next step to take to find the beautiful tree we get to enjoy for the week. Any help would be soooooo appreciated!

Last year KIdani had trouble finding our tree, but they kept looking and we kept asking. It took a full day but they finally located it in long term storage.
I don't know specifically about the Treehouses, but I think if you let them know that you know it is there, then they will keep looking. Good luck!

Isn't this the tree they were having trouble confirming?

From disneyfan2kids on page 14: "Leaving in 3 days... my "tree donation family" never came back to confirm/respond after volunteering. So it looks like SSR tree #3 doesn't really exist."

I would pm them and see if they ever had a tree to begin with. Since they checked out the same day you arrived, Bell Services shouldn't have had enough time to lose it. I hope you get your tree!

The tree I donated last year to BLT got lost half way through the xmas season never to be seen again. Good luck to everyone trying to find your missing tree.

It doesn't exist Katierich...sorry :-( The people who said they'd donate it never came back to ACTUALLY donate it. So it was never sent...I didn't have on either. I'm so sorry to be the bearer of bad news!!! Stay warm down there!

That stinks I could see this going the way of the Rent/Trade Board and needing 50/100 posts to participate in the Share A Tree.
