If everyone donates $8 to the box for shipping home, no one will be unduly burdened. It was just under $40 to ship down.

DVC Christmas Tree, Sharing A little DVC Holiday Magic! This is our 7th Year in Passing a Christmas Tree from DVC Families to DVC Families,
"Spreading a little DVC Holiday Magic".

Happy Holidays to You and Your Family !
And Thank You for Sharing a little Magic with us !

Please keep in mind the simple rules,

1. Please remember your tree # because this will help bell service locate your name on the tree list faster.

2. Please remember your dates to pick up the tree and drop the tree off (these are the dates on the tree list, not your dates you will be there), because it is only fair to the next family waiting for the tree and not wasting there time tracking down the tree.

3. Pick up the tree at the Bell service day of arrival after 11 am, pick up does not have to be at 11am, especially if your room is not ready, but you may want to ask about the tree so they can find it and put with your luggage.

4. Please cross off your name on the outside of the tree box, after you have received the tree.
Please make a donation inside the tree box in the provided envelope to help with shipping to and from the resort. Tape the tree box good before dropping off the tree to Bell service.

5. Please drop the tree off on the date of your departure at 11am with the Bell service for the next family. Drop off is important because that is when check out is and its easier to drop it off then. Also when dropping the tree off at the Bell service, please point out to the CM who the next family that will be picking up the tree.

6. If you are the last family to receive the tree please use the return address inside the box and dont forget to ship the tree back to the owner and if there is extra money left from shipping please send it to the owner of the tree for the shipping down to the resort.

7. Enjoy the tree! and Have a Magical Vacation !

p.s. - You can always leave a thank you note inside the box for the family that donated the Tree! Because those DVC Members are the ones that wanted to share the magic with you and
show everyone that DVC Members are Magical!

One thing that we did was put "Villas of Wilderness Lodge Tree #2" on 4 sides of the box. Last year at the BWV, they had a bit of a problem finding the tree because the side that was designated was not facing forward. Hopefully, this way, there's a better chance that the tree number will be visible, especially if it's pointed out to the people who are putting the tree back on the shelf.

Thanks for all the leg work Bobbi, wdwstar & inky! We will be down there in about a week and can't wait we've been decorating the house inside and out to the smiles of our neighbors. Another 2 days and it will be all done.

The pictures will help for sure. DH and I had mailed the tree, so we were able to describe the box, it was actually a "Printer Box" and that did the trick for the person. It was found!

This is a little OT but you can call MS to get code for $50 off photopass cd! I got mine emailed yesterday. Now we will see if we like $100 dollars of photos! we bought this last year and looked at the twice so I am not so inclined.

Disneyfix, you called MS and not photopass? I tried MS last week and got nowhere. I am 1 week til liftoff and this is one item that I need to get crossed off my list. Did they know what you were talking about? I think for our grand gathering the photopass would be worthwhile.

It would def. be worth it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I first called photopass and they asked for my ressie and learned we are DVC, he then said they (MS) are now able to take care of this for us the e-mail was sent out that morning. So I call MS and the rep I got had gotten the e-mail that morning and I was her first time doing the code.The whole thing being new and all only took 5 mins. MS said it would come via email in less than 24hrs. I got it about 2hrs later. I prefer it this way instead of prepurchasing it.

PERFECT! Thanks for all the info, Disneyfix! Also, I am very jealous that you are all decorated b4 your trip. I haven't started mine yet and this weekend looks pretty busy. It would be great to come home from the trip and have it done. I already said to the fam, that I am cutting back a bit on my decorating this year, so maybe it won't be as big of a chore that I have made in my mind. Alright, now I think I am inspired and will try to get it done this weekend. THANKS!
