I just wanted to stop by to wish you all a Great and Magical Tree Swap!
We had a Tree at SSR last Nov over Thanksgiving our Kids couldn't believe that the tree was really from Mom's cyber friends.

I bought a tree from a guy on Craigslist and decorated it this weekend! I bought a ton of woodland ornaments and decorations for our VWL this year. I will be using it this year and including it in the swap for next year. I will gt a picture of it and share. I am also going to add lights to our slider and show our tree through. Cannot wait!!!!!!!!!!!!!

It is definately starting to feel a bit like Christmas around here!! We are excited to participate in the tree swap in a little over a week. We are staying in a Treehouse at SSR and thought that the swap would really lend itself towards that home away from home feeling. I went out today and got lights to go around our decking and am bringing several Disney themed decorations that I already owned to make our treehouse stand out!!

I just found out about this, and see that the deadline was Oct 25.
I see that tree #1 at BLT will be lonely from Dec 2 to the 15 and those are our exact dates (Well, we get in on the 1st but...).
Would it be possible to fit us in there?
If not, oh well, have never had a tree at WDW before, so the kids wont miss it, but would be a nice surprise.
Hoping for good news.

I will check your dates, and i want you to know that if you are the last family on the tree list you will have to take the donations out of the box and use the money to ship the tree back unless if there is a pre paid label then use the label to ship the tree back and leave the money inside the box for the owner to cover the shipping. I will also need your first and last name and your complete dates for the tree box, please pm asap.

We don't have children..we drape the lights, they aren't attached. What we do wouldn't be a good idea with children, I'm sure, because they could pull, or wrap around their necks or they could hurt themselves. So...maybe using the extension and stringing the lights on the balcony is better, but then wouldn't you have to leave the slider opened? That's a dilemma for me. At any rate, when we're out, the lights are on, the drapes opened, and usually we have the tree centered in the slider, we smile and are pleased when we see our "home."

Oh, I just remembered that once I found little suction cups and strung the lights on them...don't know where the little things are now.
