Dvc 25th anniversary dooney

has anyone bought or seen the new dvc 25th anniversary Dooney and Bourke? I would love to know the price.

I believe they sold out very quickly. Disney did not get the restrictions placed on the bags so only members could buy and also allowed up to 10 to be bought at one time. They were quickly on ebay.

I actually like look of the Vera Bradley DVC bags better. We brought a couple but I think they sold out quickly also.

I hope so. I really wanted one and they were sold out the first morning. Someone else said, No, when I asked on another thread. No idea who or what their source was. I'm still holding out hope.

They are showing up on disneystore.com, but when you click on the bag, it shows SOLD OUT. I hate when they do that! Just take it off the site. They should have only been available via the DVC site.

I keep checking for the mid size bag and never see it on line. Has anyone had luck on site at the resorts? I'm staying at VB the first week of August but will have one night at WDW before driving to Vero. I would be willing to stop by a resort gift shop if there were reports of buying on property.

Do you have the Disney Parks Shopping app? That will tell you exactly what is in stock where. But I doubt you'll find this bag -- was it ever sold in property?

Me too, Maria! I wanted the bag so much!!! I actually just emailed DVC last week. Because, to add insult to injury, the bag still shows up online, and then when you click on it of course it's sold out. I asked if there were plans to bring in more stock, I received this response.

That's a bummer. I was just reading the comments on the member website about all of the disappointment. My DW might have liked one of them, but those eBay prices are steep. Obviously, there were not going to be enough bags for every member who wanted one, but they should have made the purchase of the bags more exclusive for DVC members.

And, they should not have been sent as a e-mail to DVC members saying buy your special 25th anniversary merchandise, when they were already all gone by then

Someone clearly dropped the ball, but not much can be done at this point. I don't think, in general, they really care as long as they sell them all. However, it would have been nice to give DVC owners at least a small advance window. They'd still have sold them all quickly but there wouldn't be this (IMHO unnecessary) discontentment. The same thing happened previously with the 25th anniversary magicbands.

And they let people by 10 at a time on the website. I wrote and complained but got a generic response. I did manage to get one of the bags with a lot of website stalking. It is a great bag so I am really sad that DVC doesn't care about its members.

Same here I got mine in the middle of the night. People were waiting for them onsite as well, you could buy 2 but if you went to a different location you could just buy 2 more. Not sure how you could fix the problem onsite but the whole thing was a let down.
