Hi, I read on the DL Board that DVC members can get $20. off the Deluxe AP at DL.(this would bring the 209. price down to 189.) Can anyone confirm this?? Has anyone gotten the discount yet?? I e-mailed member services and they said discounts to DL have not been finalized yet!! Like WHAT are they WAITING for?? I also have checked the member site and it says that they are coming, and it also says this in the June 2nd ClubHouse. :confused3 Any info is appreciated!! I am waiting to order my tickets, I was going to do 5-day at 169. but for 189. I would do the AP's. Thanks, Joan

Went to DL last week and saw the DVC kiosk. Wanted to stop by, but didn't get a chance. We had DL APs, but did not renew. There were no incentives to renew other than pay a lot more for what you had the previous year. We are moving to the NC next month, so buying APs didn't make sense.

All those DVCers west of Colorodo should be happy with an AP discount! The 50th celebration is really neat! Don't miss the parade and the fireworks!!

Thanks winjos and welcome to the EAST coast! Joan :cool1:

Oh... my first post! :Pinkbounc

I just got back from DL and can tell you that, though it is a struggle, you can get the $20 discount. I originally purchased my APs without the discount because I was flatly told that it didn't exist. Finally, after much struggle, and being treated like I was trying to scam them by asking for my discount, I finally found a supervisor at Guest Services who knew about it and refunded me $20 per AP!

Apparently the supervisors were just notified of the discount last week and it has not yet been communicated to all cast members. I was told that if, when purchasing your tickets, the cast member is not familiar with the discount, then you should ask for a supervisor.

Also, be prepared for the "what is DVC?" question. Not a single cast member knew what DVC was!

Good Luck! :sunny:

I have found that a lot of CMs are not familiar with the abbreviations we use online so you need to spell things out, i.e. Disney Vacation Club. I once called CRO asking for an AP discount and realized I needed to say Annual Pass. ;)
