DVC 10% Perk and MyPoints Gift Card?

Does anyone know if it is possible to the DVC membership to receive a 10% discount at Rain Forest Cafe in WDW and then pay by using a $25 Gift Card from MyPoints?

It seems like I should be able to, but want to check before getting there. Do you think they would take 2 gift cards on the same meal (probably pushing it)?

Gift cards are just like using cash or a credit card they are not a discount. You can combine them unless they are a special promotion--like a coupon. However if you are using gift certificates or gift cards redeemed through Mypoints they are just like cash. You should be able to apply the discount and then pay using however many gift cards you have. In this case you are not "double dipping". Someone paid the full amount for the face value of the cards reguardless of if you rec'd them as a gift, used them as a reward cash out or pre-purchased tehm to help you with your food budget!

I ate at the DTD Rainforest Cafe last summer and had absolutely no problem using my two $25 MyPoints GCs and my AP discount on the same check.

That's great to know! I just ordered the Rainforest Gift Cards from MyPoints and am looking forward to eating there for the first time AND enjoying a meal or two that is paid with some of "mom's diligence".
