DVC 1,000 Point Club (2025)

That is the main reason I have them. We haven’t used them yet to stay there, but what I have heard it’s worth it!! We are going next summer, so will know then.

We bought Vero specifically for the ocean front 3 bedroom cottages. We stayed 3 nights at Spring break and really like being ocean front so it validated our purchase decision. We are booked for 3 nights at Sprint break next year after staying 7 nights in a Poly Tower 1 bedroom theme view. The Vero portion for us is planned to be an annual tradition where the World portion will rotate mostly between Poly, Riviera, and Grand Flo where we own at. Probably Poly every other year.

Your thought process is pretty much the same processes I would do when I bought it. It gives us a opportunity to go to the beach every other year.

To revisit an old topic, anyone have any thoughts/ideas on what they may want on a "DVC Comma Club" design for a shirt, bag, etc? I wanted to reach out to the person who helped run another similar build but wanted to take some ideas/designs to them to see if they would be game.

Do we want it to be fun/silly? Something like - "Less Points Than I Want.... More Dues Than I Need"

Assuming the new resale contract goes through (and it should since it's Poly), I'm now 1k+ (just barely). Exactly 1011.

It's official. Passed ROFR. I'm at 1011. I have one more contract beyond this that I'm waiting to clear ROFR, which would put me at 1061. But regardless, over 1,000 points officially now. And I sorta think that I'm good for a while.

Hey..... I totally didn't spend a few hours trying to reconcile the point tracker to find 10 missing points because I had put in the stay at OKW as 322 points instead of 332 points.......

This 2025 use year is/will be our first year having all of our 1060 points after joining this club (some partially stripped resale contracts when we first bought)

We have mostly finalized (I think ) our bookings for the year now and man, having 1000+ points to play with really is something else!

I renewed our 2 passes with points, have a 6 night Grand Villa trip in Oct/Nov (BWV/BLT), 6 night 1BR trip in early Dec (RIV/AKV CL), 6 night 1BR stay in Jan (all BCV or BCV/Poly Tower TP view, I have both reserved right now), and a 4 or 5 night studio stay at VGC in April.

And it looks like we will still be banking points this year! (70-130ish depending on if we use the BCV or Poly Tower TP view for the other half of the Jan trip.

I could get used to this! (and I may have to. I was asking my wife, what about a studio here or here..."I really like having the extra room in the 1 bedrooms" Good thing we have points! lol)

I'm surprised you were able to snag the Poly Tower without owning there. I've stayed there once but it was with cash.

Thanks! I was looking right at 7 months. It looked like there may have been a standard view available but I was unable to grab it. Just the expensive TPV was available. Debating on whether that is worth the premium over BCV for half of the trip

If you've never stayed at PIT I'd probably go for it
