Confession: in any other part of my life, I would be livid to be woken up by drunks after 1:00 am. But BWV has been our happy place for 25 years, especially the Boardwalk view , and the late night revelry doesn’t bother me at all. Go figure!

Confession - I like Garden/Pool view at BWV much better than BW view. Really dislike being woken up by drunks on the boardwalk. I needs my sleep!!

Sorry, but yeah, that was probably me. It was our check in day, and I was so excited to be at the BWV for vacay. The orange blossom manhattans at the Belle Vue Lounge are so delicious (but stronger than their honeycomb garnish presents). Unfortunately, I forgot to eat dinner and the drinks quickly snuck up on me. I got to watch the Boardwalk Boys perform, then we went shopping and watched fireworks, and ended with a visit to Cake Bake for a $25 piece of cake in a $2 upcharged rose gold bag that I insisted on getting and is now my lunch bag. A memorable night on the BW followed my first and hopefully last ever DVC hangover.

We bought DVC without any intention of stepping into a theme park. We just enjoy the resorts.

You are getting way more value out of that Deluxe Resort than the folks spending their time in theme parks. They hardly ever see the giraffes at Animal Kingdom Lodge.

It is why AKL is our favorite Resort to stay the day/night before going on a DCL cruise. Get the full day at the resort with the Savannah view, get Jiko for dinner, and then Boma for breakfast!

New confession: Our family is so addicted we might set a 'visit all resorts' speedrun record! January to January we will have hit all 14 Florida resorts plus Disneyland hotel. Trying to get Grand Californian and Hilton Head by summers end, which will just leave scheduling an Aulani trip!

DVC Confession- I bought two contracts before ever stepping foot into a DVC resort.

One of the reasons I have DVC is it is a "no thinking required vacation" I should go other places but I hate planning other vacations and prefer the known to the unknown.

You need to decide:
1. Should I bring the family?
2. Which parks should I visit?
3. How long should I visit?
4. Which resort should i stay at?

These are very important topics to think about and to make a decision on.
