So you mobile order, says it's ready, then you queue anyways.

Like why say it's ready if it's not ready?

Hah - I'm assuming they are concerned about the product melting?

I always wondered about service inefficiencies at WDW - and this was pre pandemic . I can't remember what we were lining up for, but I think it was something like the falafel or spring roll cart at AK and it drove me nuts. Again, this was Dec 2018 or 2019 and the line was 30-45 min long in mid-afternoon. Turns out the reason why was because, when we got to the front, they took our order and then made the food pertaining to the order. If the cart only makes one thing (such as spring rolls), why aren't they mass producing spring rolls? I'm not going to get to the front of the line and ask for a steak dinner. I'm ordering spring rolls! I felt the same about Sleepy Hollow. It's such a long line and the wait for food is long too. I understand they have multiple different combos of orders (waffle with powdered sugar, waffle with chocolate, waffle with both & fruit, etc.) but still - make waffles. If your base is fried dough or waffles, make fried dough and waffles!

Sorry - vent over. Can you tell I went to college for Hotel Administration?

I wanted to give Mickey my money from the moment the park opened last time I was there. Aloha Isle was still closed after we lost our hat on Splash Mountain. No sale.
They really should be open at park open.
Also, there should be a breakfast pastry kiosk open at park open, too. Somewhere. Not the Starbucks on Main Street. A portable cart or two so breakfast can be had. Maybe even outside the entrance?

I always figured that the service is slow at food locations, other than full service, because there isn’t enough seating for everyone if the speed up the service.

We noticed that they were selling sausage, egg and cheese biscuit sandwiches at a few different carts around animal kingdom in the morning for breakfast. They looked delicious, they should sell those at MK too.
