Dumb Question: How to Pay?

Ok, I feel dumb, but how do I pay off the remaining balance on my cruise? It’s due in a couple weeks but I can’t find any way to pay.

On the app under Balance and on the website under Make a Payment it just says “contact the travel professional who booked your cruise” and gives no payment options.

But I booked the cruise. I did not use a travel professional. I’ve called the cruise phone number multiple times over the past few days and every time I’m quoted a wait time over 200 minutes.

Is there any way I can pay off the balance? What’s going on? This is really annoying.
 
Try calling since it's not showing a way to do it on the app or website.
Yeah. I’ve been calling but wait times are over 3 hours every time I call. Who has time for that? I’m hoping for a different method.
 
Have you tried using the DCL website. I always make my payments through the website. not the app.

When you call, press option #2 where it says booking a new cruise. The wait time is not as long, and the Castmembers will still assist you. Also, I find that calling at 8:00am when they first open, the wait is also shorter. On Sunday, they open. at 9:00am.

Both on the app AND on the DCL website (under “Make a Payment” in the menu). It just says “contact your travel professional”.

Also, could there be anyone at the port that could assist? I could literally drive to San Diego port faster than waiting on hold for 3 hours.
 
Did you transfer it after you booked? Maybe Costco if not a more traditional TA? Or did you possibly use DVC points?
I just booked it on the DCL site and paid the deposit July 2021. I haven’t done anything since.

Recently got an email with the current cancellation/final payment policy and realized my activity booking window is coming up so I’m trying to pay.

Definitely didn’t use DVC points and have never booked anything through Costco. Not sure why it says to contact my (nonexistent) travel professional and gives no options to pay.
 
It gives no option to pay because somehow their system thinks you have a TA. You will need to call to straighten it out. Good luck — as PP says try hitting the option for booking a new cruise, they seem to answer that quicker.

Call and choose option 3 for "book a new cruise". The wait will be short. The CM answering won't care why you're calling.
 
Sorry to hear this. Pretty sure there was an IT upgrade since you booked. And you got caught in a glitch.

It will probably take many phone calls to get through. Try different times of the day - just don’t wait on hold if it states a long time. I am one of the lucky ones who gets through quickly - but, again, not necessarily on the first try.

The new itinerary release probably clogged the lines For about a week. Placeholders have to call in to book. It should be getting easier.

I find Saturday afternoons to be great times.

Update: I found out a friend of a friend is a Disney TA, so I got in contact with her. She had no idea why I was having this problem, but she was able to “claim” the reservation for herself and I was able to pay through her. So, it’s all resolved now and I didn’t have to wait on the phone for three hours!
