Dumb question for the Computer Savy???

I just ordered a laptop w/wifi primarily to be used at work.

I was wondering how to hook it up to the internet at home? I know dumb question, Sorry.

You're going to need some sort of connection, whether it's DSL, cable.

Then you can either connect directly, or get a router and continue to work wireless.

For example, I have a wireless network card and we have a router, so I can move all over my house. But, if for some reason I wanted to, I could connect directly into the back of my laptop from the DSL modem and log on that way too. I'd just have to change my connection.
