Dumb Question about CRT

We are going to WDW in November and my mother and I had planned to take my DD2 to Akershus for lunch. I am having second thoughts because I didn't realize Cinderella wasn't at that princess meal and she loves Cinderella (and is very excited to wear her Cinderella dress). I have found several times available for CRT during our trip (which surprised me but yay!) and hence my question...if I make a ressie for CRT, do I just make it for 2 since it is pre-paid and DD is free?

I'm sure someone else will have a specific answer, but my reaction is to say yes, you need to make the res. for the 2 yr old. They ask for the ages

Yes, everyone is counted when making ADRs, even infants.

You will have to count the toddler when making the reservation at every restaurant. FYI Cinderella was at Akershus in May for dinner

I know you already have your answer, but I did want to mention that we've met Cinderella every time we've eaten at Akershus. Obviously there's no guarantee of having her there like there is at CRT but she does seem to be pretty regular there.

We saw Cinderella at Akershus too.

I am not sure where your getting your info but I wanted to mention that we always see Cinderella at Akershus.

Like everyone else, we've also seen Cinderella in Norway :)

I actually think you get more time with her since she's walking around to the tables vs. doing the picture in the entryway. Belle is my daughters favorite, and I was disappointed that we were rushed through the picture and into the restaurant. The interactions with the princesses walking around was much better.

Thanks guys! I was reading through several reviews and people were saying Cinderella is not at Akershus so that is where I got the information. My DD literally tells me every day she can't wait to wear her Cinderella dress and see Cinderella so I just didn't want to get to Akershus and have Cinderella not be there...I can only the imagine the epid toddler meltdown that would ensue :rotfl:

We have never seen Cinderella at Akershus. We mostly do dinner there with the occasional breakfast but have always seen Belle, Sleeping Beauty, and Snow White. Once in awhile we have also seen Jasmine and Ariel but never Cinderella.

The 2 times we ate in Norway we saw Cinderella. :confused3 We had the same cast of characters (a year apart): Belle at the door, Cinderella, Ariel, Snow White, and Aurora. Both times were dinner.

Have you considered dinner at 1900PF? I found that was the best interaction with Cinderella (although haven't done CRT yet)...just a thought, especially if you want a guarantee that you see her and only want to spend 1 TS credit.

As a matter of fact the picture to the left is a 1900PF, she asked DD to dance with her and Prince Charming (unfortunately DD was too scared to say yes, I was bummed, but Cindy took the rejection well and just gave her a hug).

We did Akershus and CRT last November and we did not see Cinderella at Akershus. If she loves Cinderella that much, I would suggest CRT (although I haven't done 1900) because there is something magical about walking in the castle and seeing Cinderella. It is great bc they don't have to wait. You don't get a lot of time with her, but you can watch her while you wait and you get to take a photo. The first time we went to CRT, we were the last ones in line for the pictures in that group and Cinderella actually danced with my daughter. Pure magical moment!

If she loves Cinderella that much~ do the castle! She will LOVE eating in 'the' castle! It is just pure magical! My daughter is 12 and we've done the castle every trip bc it is a highlight of our trip for her. I wondered if she'd still want to eat there this year~ you know, preteens are sometimes too 'cool' for such things....nope! It was her first question when we told her about the trip! Do the castle~ the magical memories are worth it! Me DD used to think Cinderella's bedroom was upstairs when she was small.... :goodvibes
