I can't seem to remember..are all the "cabins" on the monorail handicapped accessible or are there special ones? I just can't remember at all.
Thanks
Kimba

The middle 2 cars of each monorail train are the ones with ramps. :wave2:

::yes::
the cars are not that much different, but that is where they store the ramps.
The wheelchair boarding area is pretty well marked and we almost always have been pretty quickly directed to the right area by a CM.

I feel better now. For some reason I was really worried about that. It's amazing how many things I can find to worry about!
Thanks Again!!

Beware, there is a castmember at MK who loads strollers of people who do not want to close them into these spots and then will make a person in a wheelchair that comes up wait for the next monorail. We had 3 of us in wheelchairs which would of required the use of both cars but because he had loaded this family with a double stroller into one spot we had to either separate or wait for another car. We didn't want to separate because if something happened with the little one 2 people would be needed who knew what to do and my husband didn't.

A question worth passing on to Guest Relations if not already: If time and maneuvering room permit, would wheelchairs be lined up for the monorail ramp area before strollers regardless of who got there first?

We spoke to a monorail supervisor about this problem and were told that the castmember should have had the guest with the stroller that they would have to fold the stroller as the car was needed for wheelchair guests. It also is stated in each of these cars that guests may be asked to move if the car is needed by a guest in a wheelchair.
