Dumb DVC Question?

My hubby and I were just talking about DVC after hearing they were possibly thinking of making a resort in Cali.

Anyway, when you buy, say 200 points, does that mean you get that many points PER YEAR, or just one bulk sum of 200 points?

And if it is per year, how many years do you get it for?

Many of your questions might be answered better on the DVC board.

I am a DVC member, and the points you buy are annual. You get them each and every year, You can bank and borrow. You would have the potential to use up to 300% of your points in one reservation.

When they started selling Saratoga Springs, they made it a 50 year contract. so now I think it is 48 years? We bought DVC in 2002 and at the time it was 40 years. Our contract cancels in 2042. The new phase of DVC goes until 2054 I believe.
