So once you get the design you want how much on average is it costing everyone to have the actual shirt made? We called around and WOW! To have it screen printed it was 20 bucks per color and then the cost of the shirt. So that could be really pricey?

Are we going about it all wrong??? Some tips would be greatly appreciated!

thank you

Once you get the design you want, just save it to your computer. Then print it on transfer paper. Then iron it on your shirt. If you have any other questions just ask. :flower3: Just be aware, make t-shirts gets very ADDICIVE!:rotfl2:

Hi I having been doing T-Shirts for the past 5 years myself. I buy my t-shirts wholesale and I have a heat press. This year I went and bought a continus ink printer. But that has been over the course of 5 years.

I would buy your t-shirts and get some transfer paper and do it yourself. That is my suggestion. But I like do things myself. It is like my "quiet" time for me lol.

I purchased the stuff today to do it myself.
The short sleeve Hanes tshirt was 3.00 and the transfer sheets were 12.00 for 12 -8x11 sheets.
So if you have your own printer with ink, it should only cost about 4.00 to do the shirt on your own. Even less if you buy your tshirts in bulk online.

Wish me luck, I am going to try doing one tonight when my kids go to bed.
