I was so excited to join dvc at ssr I forgot to see when my first dues will be due my uy is aug and we just signed the paperwork a week ago or so and won't close till march, when will they start taking out my dues from my credit card?

Based on our past experience, my guess would be a month or two after you close. They will add the dues from the time that you signed up till the time they start withdrawing the dues, divide it by the remaining months in the year, and then add that to what would have been your normal monthly dues payment in order to get your monthly dues payment for the rest of the year.

You can only pay by credit card if you want a lump sum payment. If you want monthly, it has to be debited from a bank account.

We signed in december for august use year and i just got the bill - need to pay by February 14th! If you're not paying straight from bank you have to pay lump sum - we can't pay from bank over in uk, so have to pay lump sum every year! I hate receiving those statements after christmas.

The good news is, if you managed to get 2005 points, you won't pay dues on them. We bought mid dec, so will only pay half a months dues on those 2005 points but unfortunately, a full year for 2006!
