Dues for VWL and AKV?

I would like to add on a contract for VWL or AKL sometime in the near future. I want to add about 200-225 points at just one of these resorts so I'll have an 11 month advantage at one of my favorites. When I weigh the pros and cons and each of these resorts they come out perfectly even. I know that AKL may have a buyers incentive but that the dues may also be higher. Does anyone know what the yearly dues are for AKV and WLV. We currently own a contract at OKW.

The dues for 2007 are:

AKV: $4.62/pt
VWL: $4.73/pt

Wow thanks. So AKV are slightly lower. For some reason I thought there would be a big enough difference to help me make up my mind. I guess I'll end up putting the names in a hat and drawing!

Don't forget the 15 extra years at AKV and the bathooms in the living rooms of the 1 and 2-br's at Kidani.

In comparing maintenance fees, you will want to determine if the AKV fee is subsidized during the initial construction. Somewhere (forgive me I can't remember on what thread) there was a discussion that SSR's maintenance fees were lower because they were still subject to a Developer subsidy and that they would go up (not a lot but some) once the project was complete. I don't know if the same thing applies to AKV but if it does, then the AKV dues may eventually be higher than the VWL fees. In the same vein, I don't think that the dues yet reflect the cost of the new savannahs or amenities since the current project is using the hotel amenities; hard to guess what affect that will have on dues. I guess I'm thinking that its too early to base a decision between the two resorts based on fees.

On the other hand, I can't imagine going wrong at either resort (disclaimer--I own points at each so this is in no way an unbiased opinion!).

Thanks for all the information. I'm absorbing everything. We are going to WDW for the marathon (well half marathon for me) and I'm hoping to talk to my guide and purchase in person during that time.
