Dudley Doo Re-Opened ?

Has Dudley - Do Re-opened as scheduled on the 9th April ? If so any differences or still same ride ?

Yes, it reopened yesterday. I haven't had a chance to ride it though.

Well that's good news.

Now we need some reports of what the drop is like.

There were a few that rode it from ioacentral. This what was reported:
"As for the drop, I found it weakened - but not too bad. However, the air time sensation has been toned down to almost a minimum and the "out of your seat" feeling is dulled. Before going over the drop, the log passes some sort of brake system so it is slowly released down, rather than the straightforward plunge."

Complaints of injuries is my guess.

When we were there in November, our bellman at the RPR said the reason for the change was so riders would not get sooo wet.

That's funny, because it appears the water jets are the same. There are pictures of them in this thread. Reports are, you still get soaked.
