Gene bought those nicey mouse traps in our old house I picked it up and the damn thing jumped out at me. Mama went out and got some real traps that night. We had a party in the kitchen. Snap snap snap snap snap snap. We had like 13 field mice when they were developing the land around us. It freaked me out for life.

I scream at crickets in my room at Disney, a mouse would get me hyperventilating! How did you cope?!?

I remember my mom wouldn't believe me until she entered in my room and saw it, she began to scream too, my dad wasn't at home, so my mom (really scared) pick up the car and we drove to the mall and stayed there until my dad came home and manage the business. Don't get me started on the crickets once I was showering and felt my leg was iching when I scratched I saw a big cricket in my leg... oh boy... did I screamed... I think it was more traumatic than the mouse. By that time we lived in Guayaquil- Ecuador because of the job of my dad so getting bugs in the house was kind of a normal thing.

Greta (pup) is insane with snow. Runs full speed all around the yard. Not so good when there's ice on the concrete patio. I had to use that doggie safe salt on it as soon as I got home so she doesn't pull a Bambi tonight.

My Molly loves to run in the snow. Although seeing Greta do a Bambi might be cute, if not a little dangerous.

I am personally kind of beside myself about it. I cannot wait! Phillip will get excited eventually, probably a couple of weeks out. He's not OCD like me.

We have bats sometimes in our backyard. I bought Phillip a bat house but he didn't get it put up last summer. We live in a historic downtown neighborhood with lots of huge trees. Bats are VERY beneficial. They eat tons of bugs.

Bats are definitely good!

But not in the library!!!!

We had the freakyest thing happen here. Alot of the fish died or got pulled out of the lake by birds. They are all over the banks of the big lakes and there are millions of hawks/vultures eating them. I am talking hundreds of fish. I dont know if it was the cold or something happened to the water it is weird and smells really bad.
