After doing internet research - mostly on Teva - and spending time over the last week trying on sandals at Sports Authority and REI - I spent a final 45 minutes today trying on all possible sandals at Sports Authority again before settling on a pair of Nike Santiam III's.
Then I do a search here on DIS and on Nike.com to get some sort of verification that I bought the right thing, only to discover that it's a woman's sandal. And I'm a guy.
Other than sizing, not sure what the difference is. It seems to fit well - I'm between an 8.5 and 9, and some of the 9 in men's sizes tend to be a bit on the large size. I found them more comfortable than the Straprunner, and the Teva Spoiler III.
Anyway - they look reasonably butch. Just wondering if anybody else, or anyone else's DH has done this with any ill side effects. I think my psyche can handle it as long as nobody tells.
Thanks,
Todd
