duct tape??????

I was just reading the thread about everything you need to know/bring for a Disney cruise and the third thing listed was "bring duct tape". What's the duct tape for???

U dont need Duct tape for anything , One person
had said that they where going to Duct tape the closet doors shut , when it gets a little rough sometimes they slideopen and closed Rough Seas , but the wood work is far to nice to have duct tape on it.. and if u just slide a wash cloth in between the doors it stops the problemm.... No duct Tape.....

You can, you can, er, you can um... tape something open or closed. If your closet door doesn't latch shut, sometimes the doors can slide around and "bang". Another uses is to create a "clean room" incase of terrorist attack. you can use it to seal up and cracks where "gas" can enter the room.

Why you would want or need it on a cruise is really beyond me. I know someone will come up with some really good reasons for having it with you.

LOL! As someone who experienced this during a particularly dark and stormy night...it's not just the bang that gets you, it's the "lights on....lights off.....lights on...."

I never thought to get out of bed and put something there to stop it tho....

Just a few things you can use duct tape for:

Keeping the drapes closed if you want to sleep in

Emergency luggage repairs

Emergency formal wear repairs

taping notes to your stateroom mirror

write your stateroom number on it, and tape it to your toddler in case he wanders away

use it to keep those chatterboxes behind you in the theater quiet.

We take masking tape (small roll) and used it for:

1) hem repair on DS formal pants
2) tape the rail on the top bunk because any little movement causes a rattling sound to wake the dead!
3) retape our box which transported our wine to the cruise and souvenirs home

I'm sure I will think of some other uses as soon as I SEND this

I always bring duct tape with me. ( You remember - For want of a nail ) The stuff has a hundred uses! Besides you don't bring a whole new roll with you, just several feet rewound on a small piece of cardboard or the end of a roll that is almost empty. Hey Be Prepared.

Isn't there a book, 1001 uses for Duct Tape? Or was that Duck Tape, oh no, wait I think it was for a dead cat or something...
