I've seen a few posts mentioning Duct Tape as something we should pack. May I ask why we'd need duct tape?

I believe it to tape closets shut so they don't make noice opening and closing if the waves get rough. We had no problem with the closet doors :wave2:

I think people also use the tape, to seal the curtains by the portholes...sometimes there is a space between the curtains and it can let light in.

Duct tape for the kids hands and mouth if nothing else! :rotfl2:

When we booked our trip. I told the brothers and sister not to worry. I have plenty of duck tape to bring with us. What else is Duck Tape used for? ;)

What can't duct tape be used for?? I'm always amazed at what my DS's boy scout troop uses it for. Besides the already mention uses, it can be used on suitcases that have been destroyed because of the all the TLC the airlines give them.

We have strips of brite yellow gaffer tape on the outside of all of our bags. Whilst people were still going up and down aisles upon aisles of luggage we had spotted ours and were wheeling ours to check-in at the FLL airport. It really makes our luggage stand out even if it is ugly as sin.

It is also nice to be able to see them loaded on the airplane from either inside the terminal or the airplane itself.

I had thought another major use (if you have a balcony) is to put over the door opening, if there is a "whistle" from a small crack in the door when closed.

I had the worst time with the safe door and the closet doors banging open and shut. Seems as though the velcro stops on my closet doors were worn out...

I also used it to tape a hat to the rail when I went ashore so I could find my verandah easily in pictures.
This is my home.....

It worked to supplement the tape I used for some of the Christmas decorations and to keep the charging cord for my scooter out of the way...

Excellent suggestions, but my favorite is duct taping myself to the ship so they can't get me off....:lmao: :lmao:

I also like the one about the yellow tape on the suitcases...keep 'em coming.

The one about duct taping the kids...I use that line all the time and people look at me and wonder if I'm telling the truth or not..:confused3 :earseek:

Amen! We had a zipper failure after the luggage gorillas handled our bags. Duct Tape did the trick!
