Du & Aaa?

Can Dreams do anything about getting a AAA discount on rooms? I've booked with them and they're on the lookout for AP rates for me (yeah, sure, that'll happen!) and I was thinking of seeing if I could get AAA rates, as some discount is better than rack! But I don't see anything on the site about having them check for that.

(And yes, I could have just emailed my agent this ?, but I think she's probably heard enough from me with all the changes I've made to this trip lately and I hated to bug her unless I had to. Figured somebody here would know.)

I just joined AAA today and emailed my agent and she got the rate applied to our reservation, saved us 45.00/a night!

The Dreams agent I e-mailed said they could not get AAA rates for me, but you can book your own room through CRO using your AAA membership and then transfer your reservation to Dreams. That is what I had to do. Good luck! It saved us $35.00/night so it was worth it, but we were members to begin with.

I emailed them and they qouted the exact AAA discount that cro qouted me so I saw no advantage of booking it with them, but they didn't say that they could not do it. I've never used them before though, so maybe there's some other perks i'm not aware of, but booking a AAA rate is simple.

I just booked our trip for next year, 3 rooms, through Dreams Unlimited and they got me the AAA discount. We will be going in July and the discount was 15%.

Now I am confused. I e-mailed my DU agent this exact question and he told me that they could not do AAA discounts. I have a room only reservation.
