DTD to Disney Springs

The transformation of DTD into Disney Springs has begun.

Guide Maps now show both names, and Disney has announced that signage will gradually be changed starting now until the official name change sometime this fall. I saw 2 large road signs directing to DTD being removed and carted off today; I expect they'll soon be replaced with Disney Springs signs.

So for those driving around WDW, be prepared to look for either DTD or Disney Springs on directional signage.

I have to wonder if this is going to cause any confusion. Someone asks about Springs...it could be DTD or SSR. Thanks for the heads up!!!
