Is this store still open? If not, where can I get scrap booking supplies at Disney to commerate our 2009 vacation?

Thanks!!!!

I am going back in 67 days and I can't wait. I heard the store was closed however you can find scrapping supplies in the various resort gift shops, the World of Disney and some of the stores in the parks. I usually buy the sets I can't get here at JoAnns or Micheals. I love the park paper with the year on it. Have fun scrapping.

the store in question is gone permanently.

but it never sold anything you couldn't find elsewhere anyway, that was the main gripe

I will second Safetymom, they have some great stuff.

We found a nice selection at the Mercantile at AK and the Emporium at MK. Don't remember getting anything anywhere else.

The new Hanes t-shirt shop is opening in early December where World of Memories or whatever it was called used to be.

Oh, really. That would be nice, wonder if they will carry some plus plus sizes, I would love to have a Disney shirt.

This store is either closing or already closed. I think you will find more at World of Disney.

I'm sure that they will carry plus sizes. You get to make your own t-shirt too which is even more fun. I think it opens December 5.

Actually, there is a small store area where Memories used to be that is now open. The t-shirt portion of the shop has yet to open. The store does not contain anything you can't get at World of Disney.

World of Disney had a terrible selection!! All I could find initially in terms of paper packs was a Princess Scrapbook Kit. Not useful for me! When I asked the CM staffing the area if they had more, she was really rude and told me that was it. I went to the Information Desk to inquire about where I could get some paper packs or sticker packs... uh, turns out, they had more in a different section in that very same room! Stupid CM. I came across 3 really rude CMs in that store that night (although the young man at the Information Desk was very nice.). They were the only bad attitudes I ran across in 7 days in the parks, though, so hey...:thumbsup2

Anyway, beyond the actual WDW scrapbook, and a 4 Parks One World paper pack, there was absolutely nothing of note to buy there. :confused3 I have had much better luck at WDW in the past, and Disneyland carries a much more extensive Park collection than that...

Guess it's mousememories and Joann's for me, then!

http://www.mousememories.com/ is a great place for Disney scrapbooking supplies.

absolutley. They have a warehouse in Kissimme which you could try if you've got a car. Alternatively, shop online and get it deilvered to the hotel. This is what i did. they were really helpful, and have an amazing selection of papers, vellums, stickers, embellishments, albums etc. i ended up spending $150. I would definitley check these guys out. i can't sing them enough praise, and to be honest i was dissapointed with world of memories (or whatever its called) in DTD.

I have always had luck at the resort gift shop - we stay at CBR. Every Dec, I find a package kit for the holidays and with the year on it. Have found other cute packs as well. Thanks for the website link, I'm working on a Disney trip right now and we leave again in 17 days
