I will be in Orlando this weekend and would like to go to DTD and eat on Saturday night. What would you suggest? Do I need to make reservations? There will be 4 adults.

With four adults I would go to Portobello's or Raglan Road. You should have reservations for either of those. Raglan Road has an Irish band and a step dancer starting at 9PM, so if you are interested in seeing the entertainment, make sure you request a table in an area where they are visible. Portobello's is our favorite Downtown Disney restaurant. It is more expensive than Raglan Road. Both have outdoor seating, as well. For menus go to www.allearsnet.com.
raglan road ~ excellent entertainment, but food is just okay
wolfgang puck cafe ~ excellent food, but service is spotty (we've had incredible servers, as well as "out to lunch" servers )
for 4 adults, i would prob pick RR....we've seen both the band & the soloist, & both are incredibly talented (actually, better than the entertainment we saw in ireland itself ~ they are some of the best performers anywhere in WDW). your group can also sit down at the bar after dinner, & enjoy the rest of the show.
absolutely make ADRs: even with one, there will be a wait.
A location like the Rainforest in DTD Marketplace stays open until 11:00 PM from Sunday - Thursday, however on Friday and Saturday they are open until 12:00 AM. Fultons Crab House and Raglan Road are open until 11:00 PM each night and House of Blues has several closing hours which is, Sunday & Monday 11:00 AM - 11:00 PM, Tuesday & Wednesday 11:00 AM - Midnight and Thursday - Saturday 11:00am - 2:00 AM.
