I am really confused. I thought the hotels were part of DTD but now I'm not so sure - Sierra Suites, Embassy Suites, Radisson, and several others. Are they within walking distance of DTD? I also saw on a site that there are only seven hotels in DTD - BW, Royal Plaza, Doubtletree, Marriott, and several others. Of all of those, which would you recommend adn does anyone know if any of these include a complimentary breakfast. Thanks a lot for the info. Still trying to make up our minds.

The three hotels you mention are NOT part of DTD and I don't think they are really in walking distance. (Sierra Suites might be but it is LONG LONG walk!) As far as I know none of the DTD hotels have free breakfast.

My fav is the Hilton followed by the Wyndam, but only if I can get them on Priceline. Mousesavers has some good rates and good reviews of the Hotel Royal Plaza and Dreams Unlimited normally has some good rates at the Courtyard DTD.

Thanks for your reply. Does Priceline give you the name of the hotel or do you just take a chance? How can you be sure you would be getting a DTD hotel?

On Priceline you cannot be sure of getting a DTD hotel. If you must have a certain hotel DO NOT use priceline. I recommend www.biddingfortravel.com to learn about how to use Priceline and to see what hotels are possible in the WDW area.
