Can anyone give me a general idea on cost? My son want to make a jungle animal and we have never been to this location before. Same question for building a car at RideMakerz. Thanks for your help. :)

My son got a dinosaur at build a bear a week ago and the dinosaur was $18 and then outfits ranged from $6-$12 if I remember right.

About $45.00 for a car for my son.

As with anything though, keep in mind that there are tons of temptations along the way that may increase that price. :thumbsup2 I usually budget about $25 - $30 per BAB for each of my boys, and this next trip we might consider RideMakerz (if I am feeling generous ) and I would be budgeting $50 each. :scared1:

Don't forget to stop off at any of the hotels and look at their pamphlet stacks. There is usually a coupon for BAB there.

Check in hotel you are staying at...I had the ET book and also my hotel had a coupon for $5 off BAB...have fun!

If you have BAB near your home you could check out (basics) there so you could see what your kids would want. Usually I budget for about $50...but we only ever do BAB at DLR...DTD, it is one of our special things that we do as a family.

Have a great trip!:dance3:

Sneak into the GCH lobby and check out the pamphlets there. They had coupons for both Build a Bear and Ridemakerz when I was there last month.

Thanks!! I take it GCH is one of the hotels right on the grounds. By Goofies kitchen? We went there last time and this is where I am guesing it is? Thanks again!!

I would also hop on the BAB website. I have a Duffy (Mickey's official teddy bear) and the BAB clothes fit him. They just released a Captain Hook costume. Plus when you sign up they will send you coupons good at the stores. If you sign up for their loyalty program they will send you gift certificates after you have spent certain amounts! :thumbsup2

You are thinking of the Disneyland Hotel (DLH). GCH stands for Grand Californian Hotel which is the hotel that has an entrance into California Adventure.

The prices at BAB in DTD are the same as everywhere else including online, so you could look at the items online to get a basic price range. DTD has several DLR-exclusive items, so you can ask a Bear Builder which those are. It's very easy to spend a lot of money, so I usually recommend setting your budget/limit before you walk into the store.

speaking of build a bear... are you allowed to bring in a bear you have already bought and just buy new clothes?

I've taken Duffy in! :thumbsup2

The folks working there are always very nice and helpful.
