DT LA to DLR - Best travel bets?

I would like recommendations for the best options for transportation and the best time to head from Downtown LA to DLR on a summer Sunday - we don’t want/need to arrive at the DLH until late afternoon as we are not going to parks this day.

My family of 4 (parents and teens) is staying in Downtown LA at the Intercontinental for a couple nights before our DLR stay of 7 nights. We will be headed to DLR on a Sunday after we hit Grand Central Market that morning. Since we have 7 days at DLR and 5-day PH tix we do NOT wish to rush to DLR as soon as possible Sunday morning - It would be a waste to use our park tickets for a partial day when we have 6 others from which to choose! But we do want to arrive near 3 or 4, and prefer to minimize time in traffic obv!

Uber XL? Shuttle services? Other options? How long should we expect this trek to take?

This is a 30 minute trip without traffic. Plan for an hour with traffic on a Sunday afternoon, but won’t necessarily be that long.

Uber is a good option.
