DSL Tech Advice

Does anyone know anything about DSL? I installed my new DSL modem router last week and it has been working fine. Now all of a sudden i cant get online with it. I am using my dial up now..I have ckecked the coonections and all looks fine, but i notice the internet light isnt lit up on the router modem. Can anyone help?? Thanks!

Have you tried power cycling(turning it off waiting 30-seconds and turning it back on) the modem/router?

Yes, I eneded up calling bellsouth and they told me to unplug it for 10 secondsd then plug it back in, then do the reset button and it is wokring now.. I did do the reset but didnt think to unplug it..duh..thanks!!
