DS7 wants to exercise with Goofy - Need info

Hi there,
In the DCL books they have pictures of kids and adults exercising with goofy on deck. My DS is talking this up and can't wait to do it. I can't seem to find any info on it. Is it a scheduled thing? When and what days, etc.

I would love any info. Thanks in advance.

Be sure to check the navigators. This is done on a sea day in the afternoon around 1 or 2 pm. Goofy is out there for 15-20 minutes and then Donald comes out for another 15. Not the best time for them to be out there in the heat of the day.

My kids are really excited about exercising with Goofy too. They talk about that more than any other aspect of the cruise. Me, I am looking forward to the food!

on our cruise Goofy did the excercise class with the kids as part of the Oceaneers Club program. It was Monday at sea @1100. Be sure to check the kids club schedule also.

I just pulled out the navigator from our last cruise. 7 day western on Thursday @ 1 pm at the Goofy Pool stage. This was the exact same on our eastern in 2003.

They probably don't have this on deck on the Wonder simply because they don't have enough time to cram everything in to 3 or 4 days. It would make sense to have the activity in the kid's club. They do the same thing with the Tea with Wendy. On the 7 day cruises this is done in studio sea and you need to get tickets from GS. On the 3 & 4 day cruises Wendy has tea in the kid's club.

DS was so excited last night when I told him about Donald! I agree that the afternoon is such a silly time. I was thinking it would be early morning and DS and I could get up and do this and then have breakfast. I'll make sure I look for it when I get on board.

Hi Molli,
We just booked for 11/25/06. Thats the same time of year that we were booked to go on the Magic when it got canceled a few years ago because of people getting sick. When we were in Disney a few weeks ago and we were talking about going back to Disney next year the kids both were adament that they wanted to go on the Disney Cruise next year.

My kids did it as part of their Lab activities...I will check to see if it was in the navigators

H Melanie - we are also going 11/25/06!! We just returned Monday from Florida and took a ride by the ship terminal - it was very exciting!

Hi Snoopymom,
Glad to meet you. We too went to Cocoa Beach and drove by the Pier twice while we were in Florida a few weeks ago. Its actually what really got us motivated to book the cruise. We got to see the Carnival ship set sail on the Saturday we were there. I thought the Magic was going to be there, but I didn't realize it went to LA this year.

By the way,
I went to Barb's site (Incognito-I think I spelled it wrong) and the newest 4/02/05 eastern Itinerary showed it as Goofy's Fun Fitness Pool Party at 1pm at the Goofy pool stage.

Thanks everyone for the info. It really helped. This way I know what I'm looking for and I don't miss it.

That's why I love the DIS so much. You can be so prepared for your vacation and your family is always in awe. I think so many people miss out on doing great things because they are overwhelmed trying to absorb it all during their vacation.
