DS6's 5th Trip - New ways to make it special!

We started going to WDW annually when DS was just 2 years old. One trip as a family, and we were hooked! Since then, we've gone back every year, and one year twice. We've gone with just the three of us, with other family members, with DS and DN and are now back to just the three of us on this trip! I am super excited to return with just my boys -- but am trying to find new ways to make it special and exciting. Any thoughts?

We are also fortunate to go to Disney a lot. My In-Laws have DVC and let us stay with them for free in a 2 bedroom every year. We also went alone this spring, just the four of us with the 3/4 deal. Annual Passes made it cheaper, but now that my kids are over 3, we will have four to buy, so I'm not sure we'll be going as much. We're going again in Sept., and it will be their 5th trip each.

Once, I had "Santa Mickey" give small gifts every night to DD4 and DS3--we went in Dec and hung the stocking out for him every night. But then they expected him (and the toys/treats) on our next trip... I usually let them pick out one special toy each trip. We recently got the My Little Ponies and Mr. Potato Head, which they like to play with a lot at home.

We like to talk about what they enjoyed and plan what to do next time. They fully understand now, so that makes it easier. The both are big Disney fans, so just going and spending time with their grandparents is exciting for them.

On our fifth trip we did Hoop Dee Doo for the first time. That was fun. I always schedule some different ADRs so we are eating at different places. Last time we did Sci Fi which might not be the best food but a good time! I also like to eat at a different resort each trip so we see the different ones.

If you have never taken your time in World Showcase, we enjoy doing that. We see some of the live shows and make the masks. I think we have done the WS completely only twice.
