Hello All
Just a huge thank you to all for all the well wishes for William.
He is HOME! we can't believe it
He was only in ITU Friday looking terrible and then Friday afternoon he looked so much better.
He came home with only one eye open from the swelling, but now he can see us again.
It is tricky to change him and lie him down, as the back of his head is very tender where they made the cuts down the back of the scull and surprisingly this area seems more tender than the large strip of scull the took away or the sutures running from ear to ear.
He is on round the clock pain killers, but we are so pleased to have him home safe and sound.
And if you saw him appart form the badges/stitching, you wouldn't have thought he had under gone 4 1/2 hours of neurosurgery last Tuesday.
Trip planning here I come, oh moved the October trip to Easter as we just didn't know what the outcome was going to be.
Thanks again.
