DS proposed last week on the Disney Magic

I am a Proud Mum twice over now, because I have just received a phone call from DS Simon to say that he proposed to Tam last week on the Disney Magic.
He met Tam while he was working as a CM on the International Programme at Epcot and Tam was a fellow CM representing Canada, so what better place to propose than a Disney Cruise!
They are planning to be married next October in Vancouver where they are both living.
I am very happy. Ahhhhhhhhhhh.

Oh how time has passed so quickly.
It does only seem like last year that Simon went off to Disney full of excitement and hope. He loved every single minute of his time there, and meeting Tam was the icing on the cake.
Deb, I visited Vancouver at Easter and Simon has just spent a week over here during October. I have no plans to return to Canada until next Easter, but then DD Rebecca and John her boyfriend, Simon, Tam and myself are intending to all holiday together in Hawaii next August. We will now get together again back in Vancouver for the wedding which would appear to be in October. The distance is hard, but we all try to make the effort to catch up with each other regularly, and I am just so pleased that Simon seems so happy.
