Drying Disney ponchos has anyone tried throwing them in the dryer for just a couple of minutes to dry them out?

I know they are plastic, but I've used this trick to get wrinkles out of new shower curtain liners without melting them etc.

I just lay mine down on the bathroom floor and run a towel over them then hang them on a chair on the balcony if I have one, if not then I hang them on the back of the desk chair since they aren't dripping by that point.

Disney's dryers are incredibly hot even on the lowest setting. I would not put those ponchos in the dryer at all! We just draped ours over the strollers in our room overnight.

I have never found wet ponchos to be that big of a problem. Shake them and lay them out somewhere. Also, I think it is very rude to use communal dryers for something other than clean clothes out of the washing machine.

Best bet would be over the shower rod or clothesline if there is one in there. I have had the misfortune of putting a sturdy poncho away when I thought it was dry, key word is thought, and it was not pleasant when I went to go use it again a few months later.

I wrap mine up in a small store bag when I'm done with it to keep it from getting other things wet, and then just hang it up on a hook, or over the drying line in the hotel room when i get home, seems to do the trick for the next day

We bring ponchos from the dollar store. At a dollar each, we just throw them away when we finish with them.
Yup it's what we do now too.
When we used to have the Disney ones, I'd just wipe em with a towel n hang em up.
Op: not even sure you can Open the dryers in a cycle, at Disney??
