My feet are much better since I started using these two products, but they are still far from perfect. I will be watching this thread to see what works for other people.
So you'll probably think I've lost it but I use olive oil....yes olive oil. Take two - large plastic bags and pour the olive oil in (doesn't take much maybe 2 tbls), put your feet in and massage away. Seems a little crazy but I've tried so many things and this works for me. Daily I use a regular lotion.
Cracked heel cream from bath and body works is awesome! I also use a foot stone and the Shea it isn't so foot cream from bath and body works. Lather it up and sleep in socks so they hydrate!
I read somewhere (how's that for specific?) that cracked heels can be fungal related, so they recommended Vick's Vapo Rub. (yes, sounded crazy to me too). I tried it and it worked. I would put it on at night and then use pumice stone in the shower.
I use super glue to close really deep bleeding cracks. Then use HeelTasic. It's a roll p tube similar to a glue stick that you can find at Walgreens. That stuff is amazing. Withing 2 days of having a 1 inch deep crack (OUCH!) my foot healed up and looked amazing.
Vicks Vapor Rub. I slather it all over my feet then put on 100% cotton socks and keep it that way all night long. After a couple of days the dry cracked feet are much much better.
I read an interview with one of the Kardashian sisters rolleyes: yes, I know) and they said they used Vaseline. So I tried putting it on one night and then put on socks and it worked great! I now do it once a week.
Healtastic here to as i cant stand my feet being touched so a pumice stone, file or even a pedicure is out of the question for me. I use it at night and never have dry cracked heels
My solution for dry cracked heels is to use the Pedegg tool (best invention ever) to remove the dry and rough skin. After using it, I use vaseline and put on socks. If an area on your heal is cracked and hurting just skip that area with the pedegg and only apply vaseline. Go over that area with pedegg after it heals. The pedegg is the key to removing the rough skin so the lotion/vaseline can be absorbed.
