Dry cleaning on board?

Can someone tell me about dry cleaning services and/or prices? I think I remember someone saying they had all their clothes pressed for like $40. Are the services listed somewhere on our favorite DCL websites (Barb's? Tony's?) I would love it if I didn't have to come in at 3:00 every afternoon to get my son's, my husband's and my clothes ready for early dinner.

I had some items pressed on our cruise earlier this month. They charge half the dry cleaning rate. The only price that I can remember is $1.50 for the shirts. I thought it was quite reasonable.

We gave them the items the day before we needed them and had them back a little after 5:00pm the next day.

I never used it, but I remember the prices were about the same as they were at my dry cleaner at home!

Did they have a number to call listed in your stateroom?

I believe they do. They also give you a card with all the rates on it.

Oh, yes, the prices for pressing were extraordinary - CHEAP - I sent out two skirts two dresses and a sweater and the total price was about $12. Most items were 1 or 2 dollars - for me, almost the best money spent on board!

PS - I think this was one of the best tips I learned on the cruise. I took the first evenings clothes to the laundry room while people were still boarding and took care of them, send the rest out with the room hostess when they came back on the ship about 5 or 6 pm, everything was back to the room before dinner the next night

I'm the one that said I had everything pressed for about $40. It was the best $40 I spent all week! I even had some of the kids' clothes pressed. I sent them all out on the second day and they were back within hours. We're doing two more cruises next year and that's one thing I'll definitely be doing again! I figure that it's my vacation and ironing is one thing I need a vacation from since I do it every single day of the year!
