Dry Cleaning - Experience & Turnaround?

I bought some cheap tropical print sundress type outfits for our upcoming cruise - they're all basically printed polyester. And they wrinkle SO bad - the types of wrinkles that don't even come out in the wash. I'm pretty sure the DCL laundry would melt the dresses as they're basically plastic, but does anyone have any experience with the dry cleaning onboard? Safe for polyester? Will it get out those terrible deep polyester wrinkles? And what's the turnaround time to get them back if we sent them out on embarkation day?

I realize spending $12/item on dry cleaning for dresses that weren't all that much more expensive than that to begin with is illogical, but I definitely do not want to spend any portion of my cruise ironing. TIA!

You can send items out for pressing service only and it is 50% of the dry cleaning cost. So if a dress is $12 for dry cleaning, press only is $6.

We have had good experiences with the DCL laundry service. On time.

Next day service. We always send items to be pressed and have never had an issue. The fees are very reasonable.

my husband uses the dry cleaning (I tend to wash the kids and my stuff in the laundry room).

He seemed happy with it and it came back next day.

An under appreciated service at DCL, that many people either miss or disregard.
Right after unpacking in our SR, we always send a number of items to get them pressed (button down shirts, pants, dresses)

No matter how careful you are in packing your clothes, 90% of them arrive all wrinkled and messed up.
It's a great feeling walking around the ship with neat, well pressed clothes.
Best $100 you'll spend on the ship.. That's ~5 drinks with tips. No contest.
