Drunken fight at F&W festival

The fact that he was charged for intoxication, doesn't mean that he was. From the same news feeds, "Deputies said Hill appeared to be drunk as he resisted efforts to restrain him, yelled and made incoherent statements".

Could be alcohol, could be drugs, could be a mental issue, could be a brain tumor or any combination of all four or something else.

:earsboy: Bill

He could also be an alien and that's how people act on his planet. That said, I'm going with Occam's razor on this one.

A few years ago DH and I made the mistake of being in Epcot on New years eve. It was a flippin mess. People in the dance area with their kids some of them were so drunk they could barely stand up, and no-one was watching the kids. I felt sorry for the cast member, trying to help find lost kids when the parents could not even tell the cast member what they were wearing or any info. I went into a restroom and found a little girl crying ( about 5 or 6) as she could not button up the snap on her pants, so I asked where is your mom, or dad she just looked at me and said I don't know they are acting funny, and would not take me to the bathroom, so my brother and I came together. Another lady in the restroom, went to find a cast member, with in a few minutes their were 3 or 4 cast member and a Blue jacket cast member taking charge of the little girl, What was so sad that I over heard the one cast member say, I don't think that they have been reported missing yet. We ended up going over to Cali Grill and sitting at the bar. Much better way to spend the evening.

When we go to F&W - we have noticed more behavior that is not "Disney" behavior. We enjoy a nice cocktail, and act responsibly. Maybe if people want to drink like this and Disney is going to continue with events like this, maybe they should rethink Pleasure Island for the hard core partiers so that everyone has a space.

Just my thoughts... :thumbsup2

This is a good point. Ever since PI closed, the people who like to go out for a night of adult type entertainment have no where to go, so we are beginning to see more club like behavior in areas of the parks. They need to re open an adults only area. ID required for entrance. No exceptions.

I am supportive of Disney serving alcohol, however....just like any other establishment, they need to cut people off that present as intoxicated. I can't believe their attorneys are pleased with over-serving people alcohol due to the liability issues both in the parks and when they leave. Next step... Mouser Bouncers!

That young man just destroyed his career. It takes alot to get into and graduate from the Navel Academy and become a pilot. I feel for all parties involved in this unfortunate incident. Who knows what really caused this outburst? I just hope he gets needed help.
