I went to a wedding this past weekend and was just astounded at how the well dressed, lady-like bridesmaid at the church turned into an embarrassing drunken unladylike woman after a few too many!! This girl had so much to drink that she actually fell down trying to catch the bouquet and we saw a bit too much of her when her dress top slid down. Holy cow! What an embarrassment for the bride and groom! No class....

man I never get to weddings like that

Getting obnoxiously drunk at your or anyone else's wedding = not good.

When my brother got married and I was a bridesmaid, he gave me a lecture on how there is always one drunk family member at a wedding that people remember and he didn't want it to be me. Well, it wasn't. It was the bride.

I'm sure the bride and groom will look back at the bridesmaid's activities and laugh. It's part of the wedding day story.

I don't think drunks are funny but just very sad. :(

At my nieces wedding, her friend, who is married, was a bridesmaid. She dirty danced, with someone that was not her husband and she was also very drunk. Plus we saw other married people dirty dance without their spouses. Is this appropriate?

I went to a wedding where it was the caterer who was drunk!

She was found laying in the restroom on a sofa and she was a member of our church. The women helping her just carried on without her as she lay sloshed on the couch. Every woman who went to the restroom saw her. It was a sad sight.

The bridesmaids were doing this too! EEEEEWWWWW!!! Not appropriate in a public setting with anyone!

Sometimes people just want to be the center of attention. I'm not saying that this was the case with the bridesmaid at this wedding but it is possible. Like they say... "Poop Happens".

Why can't this ever happen when I go to a wedding? Just kidding. Seriously though, that's just wrong. I'd feel embarrased for the girl if I'd been there.

Sounds like my BIL's wedding. His bride got so wasted that she barfed all over her $1500 wedding dress and started cursing at my wife (who is a florist and who had donated her time and all the wedding flowers). What a great introduction to our family. She gives trailer trash a bad name.

Um, not me. I would have been furious if this had happened at my wedding! We actually didn't serve alcohol at our reception because my DH has some relatives that don't know when they've had too much, and we were worried that not-so-lovely things would happen.

Ya we need pics please LOL I have been to weddings like that and even at my wedding my sister got pissed drunk but I know she drink alot when she goes out so it was really not a big deal to me. I know I had probably a few to many also but hell it is a wedding let loose a little and it also helped to take the edge off and was a great party.
