The alarm went off at 7:30 and could of quite easily gone back to sleep given the late night we had had due to Howl O Scream. However, we wanted to get an early start for Epcot this morning as we knew it would be busy given it was a Saturday plus the Food & Wine Festival.

We grabbed our free breakfast at the hotel and arrived at EPCOT just after 9.00am. We exchanged our vouchers for our annual passes which seemed to take forever and joked that all the fast passes for Soarin will have gone lol.

We got to Soarin and grabbed some fast passes but as the wait time was only 20 mins, we decided to ride it straight away. So much for the 20 min wait, we walked straight on!!! After Soarin, we did Nemo & Friends, really clever, especially at the end. I love turtle talk but DH doesn’t and unfortunately, I was overruled. We watched one of the staff member feed the eels shrimp then headed over to Test Track and Mission Space. By this time we could grab a fast pass for Test Track and ride Mission Space, which again was a walk on. Feeling sick, we decided to relax on Spaceship Earth, which was only a 10 min wait.

We had a wander through innovations and did the Stormbreaker presentation. After this it was time for Test Track which was as good as ever.

It was really hot today but we decided to take on the challenge of World Showcase lol. We checked in Mexico to see if Donald was around but he wasn’t and as no one was on the water ride, we thought it would be rude not to lol. Grabbed a frozen margarita mmmmmmm and headed on. We tried a couple of bits from the various food stands and eventually decided to have lunch at the tangerine café in Morocco. We both decided to have the lamb wraps with vegetable rice and it was GORGEOUS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Our normal routine is to have fish n chips at the Rose & Crown but not anymore lol.

We waddled round the rest of World Showcase and popped into the Rose & Crown for a drink but it was packed. In fact the whole of Epcot was now packed. As we had done most of what we wanted to, we decided to head back to the hotel for a swim and snooze. As soon as my head hit the pillow I was asleep. DH woke me a couple of hours later and we headed back to Epcot for Starship and Illuminations.

Grabbed a couple of beers and took a spot for Starship. They certainly ‘built this city’ and ‘nothing stopped them’ as they put on a great show.

We sneaked out of the theatre as they were taking their applause as it was only 45 mins to Illuminations and wanted to grab a spot.

We managed to find a great spot - right in the middle with nothing in our way but cannot remember where in the world we were. We were to the right of America, in front of a little bridge with a fountain to our right. Whilst we had the perfect spot, it was a little disappointing that the music was low, so much so you could hardly hear it. It did impact on the emotion of Illuminations as I didn’t blub like I normally do lol.

After Illuminations, DH fancied a Chinese and we found a restaurant just off Vineland Ave. IT WAS DISGUSTING!!!!!!!!!!!! A total waste of $30. When we tried to complain, they just pretended not to understand us. Needless to say, we paid the bill and walked out with no tip!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Fingers crossed we didn’t wake in the night with dodgy tummy’s!!!
